After weather forced him to cancel a scheduled appearance at the Carpenters' Union Training Facility earlier this week, former President Bill Clinton made an appearance at the same location Friday at noon.

Clinton came to town to campaign for his wife and former secretary of state Hillary Clinton, as she runs a close race against Bernie Sanders for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Supporters began showing up around 8 a.m. Friday. For many, it's their second time coming to the Carpenters' Union Training Facility.

Doors to the event opened at 11 a.m., and the former president is scheduled to begin speaking at noon.

Hillary Clinton is still the Democratic front-runner, but the Sanders campaign's recent upset victory in the Michigan primary promises to prolong (and potentially realign) the race.
