KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a body was pulled from the Missouri River Sunday afternoon.
According to an MSHP incident report, the body was found just before 2 p.m. near the 325.5 mile marker. That’s in Lafayette County.
MSHP said the body was floating, caught in some brush.
It was taken to a funeral home. An autopsy is planned, according to MSHP.
The victim’s identity was listed as “Unknown” on the report as of 6 a.m. Monday.
