Kansas City Fire Station 18 was shot up at around 10:30 p.m. Thursday night.

The front windows to the garage doors were broken and there were five bullet holes shot through the front doors. A parked ambulance also sustained damage. There were twelve firefighters inside at the time, but no one was hurt.

According to the KCFD, witnesses recall seeing several cars in the area shooting at the time of the incident. It is not believed the fire station was the target of this incident, however, they are still investigating all leads.

The station is located at 32nd and Indiana and had issues with people throwing rocks before.

Earlier this week, someone also shot at a Wyandotte County sheriff cruiser.
