KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Chiefs fans won't let anything stand in their way when it comes to watching a game at Arrowhead Stadium, but as the number of people who want a seat on game day goes up so does the price for tickets.

Season-ticket members said prices for the 2020 season have gone up more than $100, but fans like Thomas Shaulis don't care and actually are looking to secure more seats.

Shaulis has been a Chiefs season-ticket member for six years. He has two seats in the upper deck, which each will cost an extra $120 next season.

Nonetheless, for the 2020 season, Shaulis wanted to add an additional two more seat and paid $200 just to be put on a waiting list.

Shaulis said he doesn't mind the price increases as long as he can see the Super Bowl champions play.

“I’ve traveled around," he said. "I’ve talked to other fan bases and stuff, and they’re talking about years and years and years that they can’t get season tickets. And I think we might be going that route with this team and the Super Bowl and everything. I don’t think they’ll be easy to get a hold of anymore."

For single-game tickets, prices will be released soon after the Chiefs schedule for the 2020 season is released in mid to late April.
