KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Soon, Chiefs Kingdom will have a place to work out on both sides of the state line.

Chiefs President Mark Donovan said Friday that the new Chiefs Fit, a health and wellness facility, will open in its Overland Park location this spring, “right around May.”

In a tweet, Donovan also revealed that a second location will open in 2022 in a “pretty cool flagship location” on the Country Club Plaza.

Donovan said the concept, which has been in the works for nearly five years, will be the “perfect combination of a health and wellness facility, a fitness club, as well as a recovery and refueling station.”

The Overland Park location will feature state-of-the-art cardio and strength and conditioning equipment, as well as an indoor turf field, Donovan said.

“Whether you’re an elite athlete or whether you’re just someone trying to stay healthy or get healthy, we have something for you,” Donovan said.

The Overland Park facility will be located in the Regency Park Shopping Center near 93rd Street and Metcalf Avenue. Donovan said to “stay tuned” for details on the Plaza location.

Monthly memberships begin at $49 for individuals, according to the Chiefs Fit website.
