On Monday night the community will have a chance to speak up on how to choose the next police chief for Kansas City.
Chief Darryl Forte’s last day is May 20.
A public forum will take place at Avila University in south Kansas City at 6:30 p.m. and is expected to last about an hour.
There will be another forum Tuesday night at the Mohart Multipurpose Center starting at 6:30 p.m.

The Kansas City Board of Commissioners named Deputy Chief David Zimmerman as the interim police chief.
