KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Country Club Plaza has named its news general manager.
Kasey Vena, who was hired in February 2019 as the Plaza’s marketing and sponsorship director, will take on the role.
Vena is a Kansas City-area native with more than a decade of experience in marketing and event planning.
David Harris, Taubman vice president of regional management, said in a news release that Vena was selected following a nationwide search.
“Kansas City’s Country Club Plaza has industry recognition as one of the thriving examples of success, evolving to meet changing customer demand,” Harris said. “We are confident Kasey will continue that trajectory.”
Vena previously worked for the Kansas City MLB Urban Youth Academy and Oak Park Mall. She also sits on the Kansas City Public Schools Foundation board of directors and is on the Kansas City MLB Urban Youth Academy development committee.
