KANSAS CITY, Mo. — It’s not always the best thing to look outside your front door and see a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper standing outside.
But it’s the holiday season in 2018, so what happened next was all caught on a doorbell camera.
Trooper Leupold recently found a package along Kansas Highway 7 in the western part of the metro area.
The package was clearly supposed to be delivered but never made it.
That’s when Trooper Leupold took the package to the address.
A doorbell camera on the home of Bonner Springs, Kansas resident Heather Brown captured Leupold knocking on the door and delivering the package.
Brown posted on Facebook the package contained a Christmas gift her dad had sent for Brown’s daughter.
