KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Firefighters battled an early morning fire in Kansas City, Missouri on Saturday.
Crews were called just after 5:30 a.m. to the home near 30th and Askew.

Crews got the fire under control after 45 minutes.
According to investigators, the fire was caused by a space heater too close to combustibles.
No injuries were reported.
