It is music to your eyes to make more music to your ears! The 47th Symphony Designers’ Showhouse, 444 Westover Road in KCMO, is ready for this year’s final weekend of “oohs” and “ahs.”
According to Co-VP of the Kansas City Symphony Alliance Patty Bibler, 48 designers have created amazing rooms and spaces all through the English Tudor’s 6000 square feet.
The home has been a part of the neighborhood since 1925.
Great ideas are around every corner, from the functional foyer to the leisurely landing to the third floor attic studio and bedroom.
Over the years, The Showhouse has raised more than $5 million for the Symphony. This year they hope to hit the $90,000 mark.
So, if you’re looking for a great way to spend a chilly mid-May weekend, stop by the Showhouse and help keep the music playing in Kansas City.
As usual, the Maestro himself, Michael Stern, hits the right note: “Once again, the combined efforts, creativity and devotion of our great team of volunteers have some together in spectacular fashion.”
