KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The first of what could be several rounds of storms this week rolled through the Kansas City metro area Monday night.

Although no severe warnings were issued, viewers reported a shelf cloud rolling through the Northland and over downtown.

41 Action News Chief Meteorologist Gary Lezak says storms in central Kansas could move into the Kansas City area overnight, causing flooding concerns.

The metro area is under a Flash Flood Watch through 1 a.m. on Thursday.
