KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Grandview, MO Police Employee Association will invite around 46 local children to participate in the "Christmas with Cops" program Sunday.
The children were nominated by community members, police officers and staff members at Grandview school based on economic or social needs.
Each child invited, along with their siblings, will receive $100 each to shop with a Grandview Police officer.
The money for this event comes from proceeds from the 2019 Annual Grandview Turkey Day 5k Fun Run/Walk, along with other donations.
