KANSAS CITY, Mo. — "Food Network" star Guy Fieri will open his new taco restaurant in Kansas City’s Power & Light District next month.
Guy Fieri’s Dive & Taco Joint will open Feb. 21, according to a Facebook page for the restaurant. It will be located at 1333 Walnut Street, the space formerly occupied by Cleaver & Cork.
The chef and well-known “Food Network” personality announced the Kansas City restaurant in October, saying it would be branded as a “brand new bar and dining concept.”
The menu will feature Fieri's signature tacos and Mexican classics, according to a news release.
"Ever since I first started competing at the American Royal 15 years ago, I've dreamed of opening a joint in Kansas City," Fieri said in the news release. "And over the years, while shooting 'Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives' in the area, I've met some great folks who love a good time and know real deal food when they find it."
