KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Independence police are investigating a shooting that occurred Monday night.
Officers responded to a shots fired call Monday around 5:39 p.m. near 100 South Fuller Street and located one person with a gunshot wound.
The individual has been taken to a local hospital, and the incident is under investigation, according to police.
