KANSAS CITY, KS — A Kansas City, Kansas, Police officer shot and killed an armed suspect early Sunday morning.
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation says officers were called to the 500 block of Ohio Avenue at 12:47 on a report of shots fired.
When they arrived, officers say they made contact with an armed individual, and an officer shot and killed the suspect.
No officers were injured in the incident, according to KBI.
KBI is investigating the shooting, in accordance with department policy.
