KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A child in Kansas City, Missouri, is believed to have suffered a “suspected heat-related death,” the city’s health department announced Friday.

The Jackson County Medical Examiner determined the boy was born in 2010, according to the department.

No other information has been released.

Temperatures in the Kansas City metro were near 105 degrees with the heat index.
