Kansas City, Missouri police and fire crews investigated a suspicious package in the downtown area.
Officials said the package was found on the 800 block of Locust Street around 10:30 a.m.
A woman placed the package on the ground and walked away after stating the package was for federal agents, Kansas City police said in a statement.
After a search police discovered it was clothes.
