KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Kansas City Zoo is asking for your help in naming a baby otter.

The zoo said in a news release that the male Asian small-clawed otter was born on Aug. 27.

The little guy has been behind-the-scenes while being cared for by his parents. In several weeks, once he’s grown up enough, you may be able to spot him in the Tropics exhibit.

His parents’ names are Cai and Ian.

The Kansas City Zoo has set up a page on their website for the contest, which can be found here.

People are welcome to submit their name suggestions between now and Oct. 20.

A panel of zoo staff will then review the entries and select four of them for a final round of voting.

You can vote on his final name between Oct. 20 and Nov. 3 on the zoo’s Facebook page.

The winning name will be announced on Facebook Live on Nov. 10.
