A dog is being treated after KC Pet Project says it was thrown off a balcony in Kansas City.
KC Pet Project wrote on its Facebook page that a dog named Max was brought in by a Kansas City, Missouri animal control officer after he sustained life-threatening injuries.
KC Pet Project said Max was thrown off a balcony of a Kansas City home. The dog’s leg was fractured, many of his front teeth were knocked out and his lungs are bruised from the fall.
KC Pet Project said Max will need to have orthopedic surgery to repair his leg. Max will then stay in a foster home to recover before he is ready for a new home.
