KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Missouri, police were called to investigate another homicide overnight Saturday into Sunday.
About 11:45 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to East 69th Street and Prospect Avenue on a reported shooting.
An unresponsive male, who was apparently shot, was located on the sidewalk at East Gregory Boulevard and Prospect Avenue.
EMS responded and pronounced the man dead.
Police on Monday identified the victim as 37-year-old Charles Hampton.
Later, officers located a vehicle with two gunshot victims, both men, at an area hospital. It was determined they were involved in the same incident.
Detectives are speaking with witnesses, and it's believed they have all individuals involved.
The investigation still is underway. Anyone with information leading to an arrest could result in a $25,000 cash reward through the TIPS hotline.
