Kansas City firefighters battled a house fire early Saturday morning.
Fire crews were dispatched just before 4:00 a.m. to the 8000 block of East 80th Terrace near James E. Reed.
A person inside the single-story home reportedly jumped out a window to escape the fire and may have sustained injuries.
No word on any other injuries at this time.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
