KCK man found guilty of attempted capital murder of Wyandotte County deputy

A 20-year-old was found guilty of attempted capital murder of a Wyandotte County Sheriff's Deputy.

Charles Bowser was tried at the Wyandotte County District Court on Monday afternoon. 

Scott Wood, who was off-duty deputy when he was shot in 2015 when he walked into a 7-Eleven near 44th Street and Shawnee Drive. He was shot multiple times and spent two weeks in the hospital.

In February 2016, Dyron King, 25, and Cecil Meggerson, 36, were found guilty of attempted capital murder.
