KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A woman who crashed a car into a Cabela's store in Kansas City, Kansas, to steal guns was sentenced Monday to 12 months and one day in federal prison.
Brenda Tosh, 28, pleaded guilty to conspiring to steal guns from the store in July 2019.
In November 2018, Tosh and 29-year-old Kyle Mendez crashed a car into the Cabela's store and took several long guns from the firearms section before they were arrested.
Mendez is set to be sentenced on Nov. 26.
