Missing KC teen found safe at local hospital

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Missouri, police asked Wednesday for the public’s help in locating Justin Marcum.

Marcum was found safe at a local hospital around 8:30 p.m. that evening.

Marcum, 19, had last been seen around 6 p.m. on Oct. 2 when he walked away from a group home near 99th St. and James A. Reed Road.

Marcum, who is 6-feet-2 and 210 pounds with brown eyes and black hair, requires daily medication for a medical condition and the assistance of a caretaker.

KCPD asks anyone who sees Marcum or knows where he is to call 9-1-1 or the Missing Persons Section at 816-234-5136.
