KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Missouri, police are investigating a life-threatening shooting that occurred Saturday morning.
Police responded just after 11:30 a.m. to the area of East 26th Street and Cleveland Avenue and located a victim on the front porch of a home.
The victim, who has not yet been identified, appeared to have been shot in the head/neck area, according to a KCPD spokesperson.
Witnesses told police that a suspect in a gray or white car drove by and fired at the victim before leaving the area.
