KCPD: suspicious package on Holmes not a threat

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — UPDATE 10:20 PM 4/4/2018: Officials say the suspicious package found on Holmes is not a threat. 

Officials said the package was found in a mailbox on the 8500 block of Holmes Road. 

The KCPD bomb squad was sent to the scene.
