Missing, endangered man with autism found safe, KCPD says

Update, 1:30 p.m. Tuesday | Young was found by a neighboring police department and is safe, Kansas City, Missouri, police said Tuesday afternoon.

Original | Kansas City, Missouri, police are asking for the public's help to locate a missing man with autism.

Anthony Young, 39, was last seen on Nov. 19, leaving the area of East 51st Street and Lydia Avenue.

Young is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a red T-shirt with stone-washed jeans.

Young has other medical issues that require medication in addition to his autism diagnosis.
