KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City police are asking for the public's help locating a missing man with dementia.

Officials say Roy Rush, 49, walked away from doctor's appointment at noon on Thursday at St. Luke's Hospital at 4400 Broadway Boulevard.

Rush suffers from dementia and a seizure disorder that requires daily medication. A release from police said he is unable to care for himself.

He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with any information on Rush's whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the KCPD Missing Persons Section at 816-234-5136.
