KHP identifies 2 pedestrians struck by snow plow

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two people who were struck and killed by a snow plow in Manhattan, Kansas, have been identified.

A Kansas Highway Patrol crash report stated that Anthony Toler, 22, and Jayden Rosa, 20, were the victims.

The report stated that Lawrence Gassmann, 65, was driving a freightliner westbound on U24 in the right lane when he hit Toler and Rosa, who were walking westbound in the right lane.

Deputies said the incident was reported around 5 a.m. in the 4000 block of Tuttle Creek Boulevard in Manhattan, Kansas.
