KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A work truck hit a stopped school bus in Douglas County Wednesday morning, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
As children were about to load onto the school bus near U-56 and K-33, the bus was struck from behind by a truck.
KHP said 11 children were on their way to school at the time.
There were no injuries to the children.
The truck driver had minor injuries.
