KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Leawood police want to talk with the woman who offered an 11-year-old girl a ride home.
Officers say shortly before 9:00 p.m. on Friday, an 11-year old girl was approached by a woman, 50-60 years of age with blond hair, in a white minivan who offered her a ride home.
The girl had been separated from her brothers in the 12700 block of High Drive when she was approached. The girl told the woman no and ran home to tell her parents.
The woman never exited her car.
Officers say the minivan had a dent on the driver-side rear quarter panel, automatic sliding doors and a dark colored interior.
