Lenexa police locate missing man with autism

UPDATE, 8:13 p.m. | Paul Lester was located safely in Kansas City, Missouri.

EARLIER | Lenexa police are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing 48-year-old man who has autism.

Paul Lester, 48, was last seen around 9 p.m. on Monday in the 9600 block of Rosehill Road.

He was wearing jeans and a black “Menards” T-shirt.

Lester does not have access to a vehicle, so he likely would be on foot and is “mostly non-verbal and may not respond to communication.”

He is 5 feet, 10 inches and weighs 135 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

MISSING PERSON: Paul Lester, 48 years old. Austic and non-verbal. Missing from 9600 block of Rosehill Rd on 8/24/20. If seen please call 911.
