TJ’s Cafe, located in downtown Grandview, was destroyed by a fire on Friday night.
The local business was serving customers for 20 years.
The fire broke out around 11 p.m. Customers who stopped by the following day for a bite to eat were in shock.
“I was getting ready to have breakfast. I came down here and didn’t feel like eating anymore I can tell you that,” said Deanna Bonanno.
Diana Bowers shot cell phone video of the fire. It showed the small cafe covered in smoke.
"I thought I saw a cloud in the sky and that’s what the smoke was from,” said Bowers.
Firefighters say the building is a complete loss. Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire.
