Malala Yousafzai coming to KC in July

Global advocate for girls’ education and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Malala Yousafzai and her father, Ziauddin Yousafzai, will speak in Kansas City in July, according to a news release from Bishop-McCann.

The news release says the two will speak at CHAT 2.0, which will focus on worldwide education and the importance of STEM Education in our local community.

The Yousafzais will speak to the continuing worldwide fight for education for all. The audience will be able to participate in a Q & A with Malala and her father.

CHAT 2.0 will be in Kansas City on July 19, 2016 at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 4 at www.chatseries.com and through the Kauffman Center box office.
