KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man charged with two counts of rape, aggravated kidnapping and aggravated criminal sodomy of a Johnson County Sheriff’s deputy will serve 55 years in prison.

A Johnson County District Court judge sentenced Brady Allen Newman-Caddell Friday in connection to the 2016 case.

Caddell pleaded guilty to the charges in May.

Newman-Caddell was a co-defendant in the case with William Luth. Luth pleaded guilty to the charges in December 2017 and was sentenced in February to nearly 41 years in prison.
