Police are investigating a homicide after a man was shot in the 200 block of South Valley.
Officers responded to the shooting call shortly before 3:30 p.m. on Friday. When they arrived they found a white man in his late 40s suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.
The incident remains under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division, who is encouraging anyone with information to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
