KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A motorcyclist who turned in from a sedan died from injuries sustained in the crash Thursday, according to police in Kansas City, Missouri.
The wreck happened around 3:30 p.m. near East 59th Street and Noland Road.
According to accident investigators, a southbound Suzuki motorcycle making a left turn veered into the path of a northbound Chevrolet car.
A police spokesperson said the motorcyclist, a 59-year-old Independence man who was thrown from his bike, died at an area hospital from his injuries.
There have now been 80 fatalities on KCMO roads in 2020, including another death earlier Thursday afternoon.
