KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A new partnership is making dental care more accessible to veterans in Kansas City, Missouri.

Starting this week and happening periodically through the rest of the year a Love to Smile's mobile dental care center will be parked at the Veterans Community Project's Outreach Center at 8825 Troost Avenue in KCMO.

All of this is an effort to give back to others.

"After getting to know a little more about the Veteran's Community Project, we saw an opportunity to give back to those, to serve those, who have actually served us," Allyson Sessions, coordinator at Love to Smile, said.

Veterans will be able to consult with dental care professionals and receive dental cleanings and minor procedures at the mobile site.

Appointments are required to get these services.

While the schedule for this week is booked, future appointments are available. Services will be available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can see future dates below.

Anyone interested can reach out to the Veterans Community Project or Love to Smile for more information on scheduling an appointment.

Here are the future dates:

  • Feb. 22-26
  • April 12-16
  • July 12-16
  • Oct.18-22
