KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- One person is dead and another is in critical condition after a crash Sunday afternoon.
According to officials, a vehicle reportedly failed to stop at a red light and hit an oncoming SUV at an intersection near I-70 and N. 57th St.
The driver of the car was killed, and his passenger is listed in critical condition.
The woman driving the SUV sustained non-life threatening injuries.
The identification of the victim is being withheld pending family notification.
The investigation continues.
