KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person was killed and another injured in a car vs. motorcycle crash on US 69 & Mo. highway 92 near Excelsior Springs Saturday night.
The Missouri Highway Patrol says about 7:45, a 2007 Honda Civic attempted to turn left from northbound US 69 onto westbound Mo-92 in front of a southbound Harley Davidson.
The 2016 motorcycle hit the right rear of the Honda, and the driver and passenger were ejected over the handlebars.
The driver of the Harley Davidson, Travis R. Jones, 32 of Lawson suffered minor injuries, his passenger, Emily R.Locke, 33 also of Lawson was pronounced dead at Excelsior Springs hospital.
The driver of the Honda was not injured.
