Students at Frontier School of Innovation - Middle School in Kansas City, Mo., were on lockdown for about 90 minutes Monday afternoon after the school received a threat via private message on the school's Facebook page.
A school spokeswoman said the threat came in around 2 p.m., which prompted the lockdown.
The lockdown lasted until 3:30 p.m., when students were dismissed at their normal time without incident.
The spokeswoman said the threat was non-specific and did not mention anyone by name.
