Overland Park financial services company to lay off roughly 100 workers

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The local headquarters of global financial services company Home Credit Group has announced plans to lay off nearly 100 workers according to a recent filing with the Kansas Department of Commerce.

The local company, Home Credit U.S. LLC, which has offices in a building on the Sprint Campus in Overland Park, Kansas, filed a WARN notice with the state Monday.

Such notices require companies with more than 100 full-time employees to give employees at least 60 days notice of layoffs if the company meets a series of criteria.

According to the company’s website, the company provides credit card services to those with Sprint credit card and the Home Credit Visa card.
