Pedestrian hit and killed by semi in KCMO

Someone walking on I-20 was hit and killed by a semi around 2 a.m. Monday.

A man walking along the highway is dead after being hit by a semi truck early Monday morning.

Police were called to I-29 south of 64^th Street around 2 a.m.

The semi driver pulled over after hitting the pedestrian.

Southbound lanes of I-29 were closed just before I-635. Lanes reopened just before 5:30 a.m.
