KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A truck and its driver were swallowed up by a sinkhole in Excelsior Springs Tuesday.
Excelsior Springs police said that emergency personnel evacuated the driver safely.
The sinkhole opened up on the 1700 block of W. Jesse James Road.
Officials do not know what caused it.
