KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Entrepreneurs and business owners will soon have a new place to look for office space.
Plexpod announced plans to turn a partially vacant building in the River Market into its fourth co-working space. The new location is near 5th Street and Delaware Avenue.
For Plexpod, opening a location in the River Market has to do with going where the entrepreneurs are located. The organization feels momentum in the River Market is real, thanks in large part to the KC Streetcar and other revitalization projects.
Plexpod offers rentable offices aimed at small businesses and start-ups. A tenant can use all four of the Plexpod locations.
“We have so many people who come in who are tired of working at home and want a space where they can connect with other entrepreneurs,” said Stephanie Medina, of Plexpod. “Our Plexpod locations boast unique amenities and resources.”
Plexpod hopes to open the new location in December. Medina said they've already received inquiries from people who want to move in.
