KCMO police are investigating a death near East 72nd Street and South Benton Avenue.
Officers were called to the 7200 block of South Benton in regard to an ambulance call. Upon arrival they found a deceased male.
Crime scene tape stretched around a small detached garage on Wednesday evening.
Homicide detectives were on the scene. The cause of the man's death is unknown, but family members told police he had major health issues.
