KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A juvenile has been taken into custody after making a social media threat Thursday against Belton Middle School.
The threat, which police determined to be unfounded, was made on social media against the middle school.
Students and teachers remained at school Thursday in a lock-and-teach setting.
Police said Friday the juvenile remains in custody at the Cass County Juvenile Office.
