KANSAS CITY, Mo. — All students in the Raytown C-2 School District will return to virtual learning for the remainder of December beginning next week.
The district announced Tuesday that elementary, special education and Herndon Career Center students will join secondary students as remote learners beginning Dec. 14.
“The decision to return to virtual learning was made in accordance with recommendations from local health authorities,” Raytown schools said in its announcement. “District data, as well as data from Eastern Jackson County, supports the projected post-Thanksgiving uptick in COVID-19 cases predicted by local health.”
Students at Northwood School will transition to remote learning effective Wednesday due to "staffing limitations."
