KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The race to replace retiring U.S. Rep. Sam Graves in Missouri’s 6th District this November is now clear.

With nearly 80% of the vote counted, Republican Chris Stigall held a 44% to 34% lead over Nathan Willett.

With roughly 72% of the vote counted on the Democratic side, Josh Smead held a 48% to 30% lead over Matt Levine.

The Associated Press made the call in the race just after 9:45 p.m. Tuesday.
