KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Nearly one year after the Kansas City, Missouri, Public Works Department promised road improvements along Armour Boulevard, progress continue to be made.

Delineators were installed on Saturday along East Armour Boulevard and Holmes Street.

Mike Witmer, who lives in the area, told 41 Action News they were installed between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., though cars still are “pulling out into the intersection to see if it’s clear.”

The Public Works Department said last August that it would install delineators on Armour Boulevard at the following intersections:

  • Central and Wyandotte streets
  • Baltimore Avenue
  • Charlotte and Holmes streets

Intersections west of Main Street had been completed, but Witmer recently contacted 41 Action News about Armour Boulevard and Charlotte Street.

Witmer said that it wasn’t until after he contacted 41 Action News and the public works department that the intersection he brought to their attention was updated.

For nearly two years, 41 Action News has reported on concerns in the area and the city's response.
